It publishes high quality research papers and articles on business economics, especially of the interest to Finnish academicians and business community. In addition to research papers, the Journal publishes discussions of current topics and literature reviews.

The Journal is published four times a year by Liiketaloustieteellinen yhdistys r.y – Företagsekonomiska förening r.f. - the Association for Business Administration Studies. It is printed in Vammalan Kirjapaino Oy, Vammala, Finland. It can also be read at http://lta.hse.fi.  The Journal consists of four parts as follows:

  1. Executive Summaries: An executive summary of 400-500 words in English on research papers and discussion articles on a separate page. It should clearly inform the reader of the manuscript’s topic and of its methods and findings.
  2. Research Papers: Each paper submitted to the Finnish Journal of Business Economics is a subjected to a detailed anonymous review by two reviewers. The reviewers are either domestic or foreign active researchers well aquainted with the topic. The research papers are mainly written in English but for special reasons also papers in Finnish, Swedish and German can be published. An abstract of 150-200 words, including keywords, should precede the text.
  3. Discussion: The Finnish Journal of Business Economics especially calls for the viewpoints of the business community. The editors do not take a position in the content of the arguments presented in the discussion articles.
